The Emerson Theater is an all age music venue located at 4634 E. 10th Street in the Little Flower neighborhood of Indianapolis, Indiana. The Emerson Theater hosts original local music Friday and Saturday nights every week and also hosts some regional/national acts. The Emerson Theater used to be an old theater but a new owner removed all the seats and built in a stage. They have hosted several hundred shows over the years. On January 18, 2019 The Emerson Theater announced on their social media that the venue was relocating to a location on the west side of Indianapolis, and will be renamed The Citadel.
The album Live: No Time for Tuning by Indianapolis junk rock band Sloppy Seconds was recorded at the Emerson Theatre on April 15, 1995.
