Five Points in Columbia, South Carolina is a shopping, restaurant, and nightlife area that attracts customers from the nearby University of South Carolina and throughout the Columbia metropolitan area. It is the center for the city's annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival.

It was Columbia's first neighborhood shopping district, named for the intersection of Harden Street, Devine Street and Santee Avenue. It was home to Columbia's first supermarket (an A and P), first Chinese restaurant (Kester’s Bamboo House), and the first bar in South Carolina to serve a cocktail (the Stage Door, which claimed to sell the state's first legal mixed drink after the South Carolina General Assembly approved the use of minibottles in 1973).

When streetcars were prevalent, Five Points was a hub (rotating circle) for moving between downtown Columbia and the residential area of Shandon.

From '84-1998 Rockafellas rock music club was where Jake's Bar on Devine is. It hosted Butthole Surfers in '86, Black Flag in '86, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Red Hot Chili Peppers in '87, Soul Asylum in '87, Flaming Lips in '87, Danzig in '89, Soundgarden in '89, Faith No More in '89, Danielle Howle (from Columbia) in '89, Social Distortion in '91, Widespread Panic (from Athens) in '91, Stone Temple Pilots in '92, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones in '92, Blind Melon in '93, Rock Hall of Famers Green Day in '94, The Offspring in '94, 311 (band) in ’94, Virginia's Dave Matthews Band in '94,Goo Goo Dolls in '95, Chapel Hill NC's Ben Folds Five in '95 (and 2 more times there), Marilyn Manson in '95, Atlanta's Drivin N Cryin in '96, Jacksonville's Limp Bizkit in '97, Gainesville's Less Than Jake in '97, Rock Hall of Famer Marky Ramone in '97, Local H in '97, and Bloodhound Gang in '97.
